I want a medal

This summer is already setting out to be a lot of heavy lifting in the motherhood Olympics. I'm taking Emily on a lot of adventures, but I am not getting much credit from her. And my husband is making fun of me when I turn over the parenting duties to him in the evenings (as late as 8:30, may I point out). Mothers need praise also!!!
