I found out the hard way this Friday that I have become allergic to bee stings. I went to the ER with my whole body pretty close to the color of the inside of a ripe watermelon, incredibly itchy feet, and bumps all over. And a pretty good case of panic, "will this get worse?".
It's a bummer, because I still have a lot of things that I want to do to my yard and garden, and now I am scared to. Especially when Tim is at work (essentially all the daylight hours from Monday to Friday). He'll be home (for a housework "vacation") this week.
I was stung lots of times as a child, probably ending around the age of thirteen or fourteen and never experienced a reaction.
