Strawberry fields forever
Jun. 15th, 2007 08:17 pmToday was a wonderful day for strawberry picking. We went with J and M, twins from Emily's school. J was in her class and M was in the other Tu/Th 3 year class. Emily and I picked 3 pounds and M and J and their mom picked 7 pounds. They saw tractors, ate cheese and bread, drank lemonade, and saw a llama and two goats. They fed the goats beet leaves. It was cool and overcast, but no rain.
Afterwards, I let J and M explore my car. Since it is a bright yellow New Beetle, kids love it! I think M reset my trip-meter, but that's OK.
Before we left for the farm, Emily climbed up their monkey-bars and swung on their trapeze. She and J played on the rocket/glider swing together. Emily made up a song about Mars to the tune of "Home on the Range".
