We did go there after all.

The NASA exhibit was pretty fun, especially for Emily. There was a children's book with 6 activities. If a child did 4 of them (or the parents helped), the child could get a pin.

We also saw the Bhutan exhibit. We enjoyed the Bhutan food.

We didn't get over to the Texas exhibit.

Out of curiosity, what sort of food is Bhutan food?

Emily ate pork dumplings. The pork was a tiny bit spicy. There was a red hot sauce that she completely ignored.

Tim and I shared a platter of chicken cooked in a milky sauce with "chilies"--mild peppers. And rice. Oh, the rice was delicious. It was white rice with a brown short grain (rice?) mixed in. Yum, yum.

The drink was mango lassi. A cold mango drink with a great deal of thickness from a cream or milk.

Guessed at ethnic similarities.

All the food (except the rice) would not have been out of place in a Chinese restaurant. The rice was more Indian. The lassi was more mongolian/kazakh.
