Pros:
Fluency in another, highly used language.
With the children of BG (2 children), JE (4 children), and MP(3 children). More my friends than her friends and all older.
Other children from her preschool are going there (P, F?, and maybe others)
Only 2 (or 3) different classes at K level.
Cons (or Pros of local school):
Closeness of local school==walking distance
Neighbors go to local school (T in her age range, J and K older than her)
Relatives go there (T older, K younger)
Smaller class sizes
Instruction in native language.
No children from preschool are going to local school.
Closeness in the event of an emergency (Immersion school is closer to DC and therefore I would be swimming upstream if I was even allowed in the event of a 9-11 type emergency)
