Fabric glue. I need a very strong fabric glue that doesn't need heat (and will glue a plastic-coated thing to fabric).

The problem may not be your glue - it may be that the plastic-coated thingy is too smooth for the glue to stick properly. Try scuffing teh back of it up with sandpaper or something.

THE best fabric glue around is called Fabri-Tac. It's what is used to stick pearls and such to wedding veils.
