I am sorting through my photos to see what is actually good and can take the shrinking and low(er) resolution of a user-pic.

Go for it.

I like "On vacation", "Play Mobile Arrest", and "Emily Posing". This "At Janet's Memorial" one, though, doesn't work as well. I think it's a bad angle, combined with a transient strange expression—as if somebody took a picture at just the wrong instant. The combination, well...

...it looks a little like your mother.

(Isn't it useful to get advice from friends who are too far away to hit? :-)

Cloning is widely practiced in my family. Unfortunately, the model we picked was only attractive in her childhood and twenties.

Seriously, Tim has to take my word that Emily is not a lab-creation. :)

Politeness says I should dispute that, but it would seem insincere, since I haven't seen you since your twenties. :-)

Given that the new (this week) record success rate for producing cloned primate embryos (not live births) is 1.3%, I think he's got good reason to believe you. :-)

But I know what you mean. A. acts & looks like me, and E. like [livejournal.com profile] cvirtue—except she seems to have inherited my musical tendencies. We have a picture of C., which her aunt drew when she was 3; I once saw it out of the corner of my eye, and misidentified it as E.

I think this one loses it "Segmented worms and acorns". And I am not sure about the "Lizard" one either. Low-resolution can really destroy a picture.

Um. I hit someone in MD on the instruction of someone in CT before. And MA is not that far north of CT.

...I'll keep that in mind.
