We just watched "The Electric Company" the new one on PBS. Then I dug out my DVDs of the old one and we're watching the very first episode from 1971.

Hmmm.

That doesn't seem to be in the first season of the old one.

On the other hand, the plumber talking to the parrot is in the very first one. "It's the plumber. I've come to fix the sink."
