Sophie Currier is currently on top of the lawsuit involving the National Board of Medical Examiners. She is a mother of a four-month-old (and a toddler) and is taking the Boards to be licensed as a doctor.
The "blogosphere" is not commenting much on the case and Dahlia Lithwick of Slate(among others) is wondering why.
I think (and I have no expertise in special education) that the time and a half (or double time) for ADHD is not the right accommodation. For breast-feeding, I think the right accommodation is dividing the test over two days, so that the breastfeeding mother is not taking a test for more than 4 hours at a time, and no more than 6 hours on any day. That is what I would have preferred if it was me.
