Update

I am updating my notes (again) for MCAT biology. The idea with this particular update is that it will be more interesting (for a while) to discuss viruses in terms of influenza.

The general model of biology and especially medical education is disease, theory, disease, theory. I am sure that there are good potential doctors who don't learn best that way.

This is interesting

A study from NASA of the heat island effect. Note how powerful even small trees isolated in their own tree island are at lowering the immediate temperatures. Wow.

Makes me want to plant a(nother) tree.
