And it seemed like the whole rest of the school was early. I saw a mom (that I know) walking back at 8:38. Technically, your child is only allowed in before 8:40 if they are eating breakfast. One of my mom friends from baby network tried tickling Emily to see if she would speed up.

When we approached the door, a little girl said, "Hello, Emily". So Emily felt better.

I think she is beginning to realize that she's got years and years of involuntary schooling ahead of her.

I noticed I had a tag that said "retirement". Since when have I had the time to think about retirement?? Must have been when T was home.

It's hard, mentally, to think about retirement when you're not working (or barely working). Let's just say that most of my work doesn't not entail a biweekly or monthly paycheck. And, speaking of a biweekly paycheck, my email notifications of what I am being paid for are about a week behind the direct deposit.

There are many, many important retirement papers I try to keep in order. At least, I know exactly which ones are missing. I think filing is on my agenda this morning.

I am getting fed up with my babysitter. We are supposed to be finding more children for her. It's hard to do. A lot of people only want licensed daycare providers. Many places charge (a lot) for advertising or will only advertise licensed daycare providers.

I am feeling guilty that maybe I am not writing the best advertisements for her. This *should* be something I know how to do. And, of course, I wonder why my advertisements don't get any replies.

Emily is getting it. We were talking about T's work environment and how he reports to a boss (and is a boss of some other people). She wanted to know if her principal had a boss. I told her, Dr. Weast. She then asked if her principal was in charge of preschool. I said no, the lowest grade he has to deal with is kindergarten. She then asked if Dr. Weast is in charge of preschool. I said that the director, (name of director), was in charge of her preschool. She said that kindergarten would be better if it was more like preschool with more games and more time.

I think she may be thinking of writing a letter to Dr. Weast about changing the kindergarten curriculum.  :-0
