I can't go fix my glasses, since all my blocks of time are short. That's fine by me. I dread going, even more so with my mother, because she may try to pick out new glasses. I don't need new glasses, just the old ones fixed.
I am planning (ha, ha) to go to the grocery store and get some of the things that we haven't had around in a while. And the 2 boxes of graham crackers that Emily's class needs for their Gingerbread Houses.
Emily and I were looking over her schoolwork and homework. We noticed that one task where they had to glue five sight words on to a gingerbread man was marked "Follow Directions: There are only four words here"; she says that there was a fifth word fell off before the teacher saw it. Also, Emily's calender homework was marked off because she didn't glue it (T told me to ask about that). So we wrote a note. Yes, grade-grubbing in the kindergarten set.
I have to come up with a list of preferred classes to teach in the spring (from the master list). Today, sooner if possible.
