Nightmares

petmoosieI had a nightmare about being late to work and getting in severe trouble for it. Late is just something that you can not be as a teacher, especially in the not-rare case that I am the only teacher on the site. I am the only one with keys/ the code to get in the building.
I've only been late twice and in both cases I wasn't the only teacher. Once when I missed the whole first class at Georgetown University because I just could not find the right building, even using the maps that Georgetown provides its students. The river needs to be added to that map, since it is a large feature of the landscape.
The other time, I called ahead and my supervisor went in and talked about general test-taking strategies. Every single person in the company knows about those, since that's what the company does.
I hope that writing about this gets rid of the feeling of over-hanging doom I have.
