petmoosieEmily and I brought in a bunch of acorns and left them sitting in a shallow box. Three or four days later, the acorns had holes in them and a bunch of white segmented worms (about 1 cm long and 4 mm thick at their thickest part) were crawling around the bottom of the box. I am glad that we put the acorns in a box.
