Gardening--I have a question. Many of my trees bent over with the weight of all the snow. Some of them have not straightened even after the removal of the snow weighing them down. Will they straighten themselves when the sap rises? Will they straighten themselves when they leaf out? Are they going to be stuck in the bent-over position forever (or until they die)?

My Spanish class has been canceled (for spring, the teacher will try to put together a class in the fall). I will need to be sure that I am practicing Spanish every day. And that I am practicing at least a little grammar, which is not my favorite.

No more snow!! I'm enjoying watching the melting. We are due to have some flurries (30% chance) tonight and tomorrow and more heavy snowfall (60% chance) between Monday, Feb. 22 and Wednesday, Feb. 24. With any luck these will not amount to any real accumulation. Highs are predicted to be above 32 degrees for the entire 10-day forecast. Let it melt, let it melt, let it melt!
