Pretty tired

Had an excellent night last night. Emily got to play with her friend, Ben from space camp. Emily is being so social this summer. So many friends, which is very, very nice.

So T and I got to speak with the parents. I took a tour of the garden and loved to see the beautiful tomatoes, and herbs.

Birthday party today.

T was sleepy after the birthday party, but now he is recovered.

Emily made some major swimming advances yesterday. She can basically dog-paddle 4 to 5 feet, repeatedly, in the deep end. So she can dog-paddle the length of the pool catching a noodle every 4 or 5 feet.

Made a ton of blueberry cobbler

Even I am sick of it. But it was good.

Emily might have finished off the fresh blueberries. I could go at least a month without seeing or tasting another blueberry.

I should be doing something productive with my MCAT notes, I guess. It is the weekend, and T is taking care of Emily. I don't even have a stack of laundry to do. And I organized some of the left-on-the-desktop files into logical categories. And I am totally caught up on Coffee Break Spanish!!!!!

Must get caught up on Emily's notebook of developments. I will probably have to hide that once she starts to read. It will give her a swelled head.

Still trying to find the first Emily book. Bleh.
