Emily's preschool does a consignment sale in the fall and in the spring for a fund-raiser. So I am spending this whole week labeling clothes and other items for consignment and donating those that aren't in good enough shape for consignment. (although all the summery stuff is being saved for the spring sale). Next week, is the actual sale on Oct. 23, 24, and 25th. I work for the sale on Tuesday.
I'm glad to finally get rid of the clothes that Emily outgrew (some long ago) and let other children wear them. And it's related to the environment because it prevents the manufacture of some new clothes which helps the environment by not growing cotton, especially in places like Central Asia and China, where the land is almost too arid for cotton.
