No, I don't believe her; those were cops. I just wonder how violent she had been before she got here, because they were definitely treating her like she might draw a gun or a knife.
He never told the neighbors that she has Alzheimer's or other reasons for paranoia. (Some drugs or heart conditions can cause the same symptoms). I hope that he is OK (and that she isn't hurt).
