Sunday is a work day

Note all these financial decisions taken on Sundays. The rationale is that you want the results out by the opening of trade on Monday in the Far East (Hong Kong, Shanghai, New Zealand, Tokyo, and Australia). So the Secretary of the Treasury, Federal Reserve Chairman, all their underlings, and heads of major investment banks have to be available by phone or in their offices on Sunday. I hope that they are taking Fridays off.
