Summer is here!!
First day of swim lessons in addition to swim team practice.
Emily is playing Barbies with two other girls. Later, we'll have to go to the swimsuit supplier for the swim team. I hope that means that Emily will have the team suit before the Wednesday meet.
This week is going to be very, very hot.

Ibuprofen
Aaaahhh, it's a miracle drug. I wish I had taken it two hours earlier.
I somehow sprained my back last night. Perhaps it was something I did in the pool. I had a miserable night, trying to find a comfortable position and STAY in it without moving or even breathing deeply. mrmoosie , who is going to be rushing to complete a piece of work by 9:30am. He gave me Ibuprofen (my idea) and a hot pad at 8:15 and I am now functional. I owe him big-time.

Emily woke at 4:30am. She asked me every three minutes if it was morning yet. So at 5, I declared it morning.
We decided to make a jar of "things she can do by herself". It only has two items in it right now.

A break from the snow
Tonight and tomorrow are supposed to be snow-free. On Friday, it's supposed to start in mid-morning and just keep getting heavier and heavier.
So, we will spend a good deal of the weekend snowed-in again. I will try to get stuff for all the dinners for the weekend in a shopping run tomorrow, just like the rest of the SAHMs.
I've mailed off the most important bills. I guess we're in good shape for this adventure. But bleh!

State of the Union
We're planning to watch at least a tiny bit. With Emily. The sad thing is that we're on the East Coast, and we need to get to sleep much earlier than the speech will be over.
