We're reading "The Wind in the Willows"

We'll see how long it lasts. The book has very figurative language and that isn't the best for Emily at this stage. But she is amused by the character of Toad and the necklace that came with the book.

But I need a picture.  By the way, what is a weir? 1) a fence or enclosure set in a waterway for taking fish 2) a dam in a stream to raise the water level or divert its flow. I need to find a picture. Emily is very good about asking about words she doesn't know.

Thanks. Of those pictures, only one matches the first definition and most of them match the second definition. One is of a guy with the last name, Weir.

Thanks a lot.

I didn't finish my thought.

That must mean that the second definition is the more widely used one.
