Based on my remembrance of driving northward the summer after a HUUUGE snowstorm/icestorm in Maine, most trees that bent over straightened up on their own, but maybe 1% did not. Note that I didn't keep notes! But mostly they should recover fine.
Do wait until there is no chance of frost before you start messing with them, if you are inclined to try. I haven't researched it, but warmer probably means less chance of snapping. You might try a websearch.
