Class-action suits

Remember the suit in the '90s for airlines colluding on prices. Did anyone get and use the voucher? It was not a remedy, not really, more like a coupon.

There was another for high fees on MasterCard and Visa when getting money in the local currency while in another country.

There is another for high gas prices on overseas flight.

It's so much work to trace down all the affected consumers. And usually the remedy is useless (or only slightly useful for a small subset of the affected).

I would think that distributing it to future consumers of the product would be just as fair and more useful.
